Chart corrections at the telescope desk: inpaint, restyle and extend keeper frames at 21 credits, originals untouched.

Edit your own creations and media you hold rights and consent for.

Per-job credit pricing is shown before you confirm. An edit produces a new piece; your original stays untouched in your account.

Every observatory keeps a corrections column in its log: the chart was right except here. The editor is that column, made of tools — inpaint for the fault, restyle for the light, extend for the field that was cropped too tight by enthusiasm.

One correction per entry, original chart untouched. A frame corrected five times was mischarted from the start, and the honest fix is a new observation at the generator.

How it runs at the telescope desk

Step 1

Name the one thing that is wrong

An edit brief is a repair order: “the strap slips off her shoulder”, “the window light is cold”, “the background sign is readable”. One fault per pass keeps the rest of the frame intact.

Step 2

Mask tightly, describe plainly

Paint the mask over the fault and a margin around it, then say what should be there instead — the same six-part language as a fresh prompt, applied to one region.

Step 3

Compare against the original

The original stays untouched in your library. Flip between the two; an edit that fixes the strap but moves her face is a failed edit, however pretty.

Corrections column, weekly

Use it for

A chart error, corrected

Inpaint the stray modern fitting on the observatory wall; the invented sky keeps its century.

Use it for

Dusk, restyled

A flat noon portrait re-observed at blue hour, her expression untouched by the correction.

Use it for

Field extension

Extend the star field upward until the composition can carry a title.

Worked examples

Example — Stella, 29

Repairing Stella’s keeper

Inpaint brief: remove the small modern smoke detector from the observatory wall and soften the chart grid behind her. Her gown and face stay untouched.

One fault per pass, original untouched. The edit is a new piece in the library; the frame it fixed stays as it was.

Example — Luna, 27

Repairing Luna’s keeper

Restyle brief: warm the ivory tones toward champagne and deepen the emerald shadows at frame right. Luna herself is not edited.

One fault per pass, original untouched. The edit is a new piece in the library; the frame it fixed stays as it was.

Where it goes wrong

Watch for

Editing a frame you have not judged

Fix composition with a re-generation, not an edit. The editor repairs keepers; it does not rescue drafts.

Watch for

Masking the whole image

A mask over everything is a re-roll with extra steps. Small masks, exact briefs.

Watch for

Stacking five edits

Each pass re-reads the last. Three careful passes beat seven hopeful ones — stop when the fault is gone.

Watch for

Editing away the likeness

If the face changed, undo. Her face is the one element no edit is allowed to spend.

Questions, answered plainly

What does an edit cost?

Edits run through the image editing model at 21 credits per job, shown before you confirm.

Does editing overwrite my original?

Never. An edit produces a new piece in your library; the original stays exactly as it was.

What can the editor fix?

Wardrobe faults, hands, stray objects, light and colour, readable background text, and canvas size via extension.

Can I edit photos I did not make here?

Yes, if they are yours or you hold the rights and consent for them — the same rule as every tool at SearchAiPron.

How many passes should a frame need?

One or two for a genuine fault. If a frame needs five, it was a draft — regenerate it instead.
